In 1930, in order to increase the value of a product that wine market at that time did not estimate, a group of farmers decided to constitute a vinegrowers’ association, the first in Apulia: Cantina Sociale of Locorotondo, and thanks to this association in 1969 it was given to this grapes the Controlled Denomination of Origin.
The experience acquired in these years and the continuous investments, have allowed to equip winery’s systems with high technology and remarkable potentiality in order to assure success and product and turnover capacity growing always with the same aim: wine’s healthiness and genuineness.
 

This aim has been popularized directly to consumers developing, in the imposing and smart establishment of the Cantina with its peculiar and complex architecture of handmade local stone which evokes the peculiarity of peasant civilisation and stone and wine culture, a series of initiatives and manifestations in order to show all vinification and production states, up to their most refined wine productions.
